  • Is registration free?

    Yes, yes, yes! We will never ask you to pay in order to join our panel. Registration is completely free and voluntary.

  • How do I join?

    To join, simply fill in our registration form, you will be sent an e-mail to confirm your details and voila, you are in. To join you would need access to the internet and e-mail. This is because all our surveys and discussions are online and we will invite you to take part by e-mailing you.

  • When can I expect surveys?

    As soon as you have signed up and completed the registration process, you are eligible to start receiving surveys. Receiving surveys is entirely dependent on the topic of the research and whether you qualify to participate. For example, if we are interested in knowing what you think about television, we require you to watch a certain amount of television to qualify. We unfortunately cannot guarantee that you will receive a certain amount of surveys every month as participation is dependent on the research topic.

  • How often can I redeem points?

    As often as you like, provided you have enough points to cash out for the reward you want. We get so many requests so we handle all of them once a month on the 15th. Make sure to get your request in before the 15th and you’ll have your reward before the end of the month.

  • Will you try to sell me something?

    No, never! The information you provide will be used for market research purposes and not to market any product or service to you.

  • What about my privacy?

    We take this very seriously and will never divulge your information to anyone not authorised by Enlighten. Your information will purely be used for market research purposes.   • What's in it for me?

    By joining Enlighten, you will be rewarded for giving your opinion. See our rewards section for more information. Over and above the rewards, you will be assisting companies to deliver better products and services to you and other customers alike. You can also opt to donate your points to Reach for a Dream to assist a terminally ill child in making their dream come true.

  • What rewards are available?

    We offer gift cards, online shopping vouchers, airtimes, movie tickets, Mr Delivery vouchers, shopping vouchers, sporadic lucky draws and charity donations. Have a look at our rewards section for more information as we’re continuously adding more options.

  • What if I don’t want to be part of the panel anymore?

    You will always have the opportunity to unsubscribe from our panel. Participation is completely voluntary. We would however be very sad to see you go, because you will miss out on all the rewards and research fun.

  • How will I know when there is a survey available?

    We will send you an e-mail to invite you to take part in surveys and if you log into your Enlighten account, you will also see what surveys are available in which you can take part. We suggest you look out for the emails though, as surveys often fill up quickly. Add us to your VIP list. Make sure to log in regularly to see what research activities we have available for you.

  • How long will the surveys take?

    Surveys will vary in length and we will always inform you upfront about the length of the survey. Generally surveys take between 10 and 15 minutes and in rare instances, we might ask you to give us some more of your time. The survey reward is usually linked to the time it takes to complete the survey, so keep that in mind when you receive an invitation to participate.

  • What do you do with the information I provide?

    When completing a survey, your responses get pooled together with the other responses we receive. We then analyse the information and put it into a report that we deliver to our client. This mainly takes the form of percentages and statistics. Your feedback and information will purely be used for market research purposes. When you complete surveys, you will never be personally linked to your responses so you can always be honest and candid in your feedback. We use this feedback to tell brands and companies how they can improve.

  • How long am I required to be a member of Enlighten?

    This is entirely up to you and you are welcome to remain a member of Enlighten for as long as you like. We would love if you stayed with us for the longer term; however, you can unsubscribe at any time and we will automatically stop inviting you to take part in surveys. If you unsubscribe you also forfeit your current and future points.

Survey specific terms and conditions will also be communicated to you in the e-mail you receive to invite you to take part. We will always refer you to survey specific terms and conditions, should there be anything specific to the survey, points structure or prize draw. However, it really is as simple as taking surveys and redeeming your rewards.

  • I’ve forgotten my login and/or password, what do I do?

    No need to panic, just click here.

  • How can I change my personal information?

    To change your personal information you must login and go to your personal area. You will then have access to all your data, which you can modify at any time. Remember to click `Confirm changes' after modifying your details. It’s important for us to have the latest basic information on you, that way we can ensure you receive surveys that are relevant to you.

  • Will I get spam as a result of signing up to the Enlighten panel?

    No. The panel has been created purely for marketing research purposes and your personal data will not be shared with or sold to third parties. Your contact details will only be used by Enlighten to contact you for research. For more information, read our Privacy Policy here.

  • Can I have more than one account with different email addresses?

    No. No person may establish or maintain more than one (1) account with a panel, and each account must have a unique and valid e-mail address and password. We only want to hear your opinion once per research engagement. Should you register more than one account we will consider your account as fraudulent and take the necessary steps.
